Position Summary

The Operations Manager supports the Store Manager in the strategic and total leadership of a CVS/pharmacy store, focusing on store execution, performance, and consumer loyalty through excellent customer service.

Essential Functions

Management: Lead and work effectively with store crews, supervise, assign and direct activities, communicate information, and support the Store Manager with action plans for improvement.

Customer Service: Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints, and promote the CVS customer service culture.

Responsibilities

Overall store management, supervision, and policy implementation
Sales and inventory management
Employee staffing, training, and development
Financial management
Customer service leadership

Qualifications Required

Deductive reasoning, advanced analytical and computer skills
Advanced communication, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills
Ability to work a full‑time flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and urgent issues

Preferred

Experience as a retail manager or supervisor
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Compensation

Typical pay range: $19.00 – $29.00 per hour (or annual salary, depending on the grade).
