About the Role

Avance is seeking a Quality Control Auditor. The Quality Control Auditor plays a crucial role in the production of our cabinets. The Quality Control Auditor will conduct routine inspections of materials to check for consistency and ensure our products meet the highest standards. This includes analyzing trends and advising on areas of improvement when there are deviations from our quality standards.

7:00 AM- 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspecting Materials:
    Examine raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify issues in sanding and painting quality
  • Process Improvement:
    Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement solutions to enhance quality
  • Compliance:
    Ensure that all products comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Communicate with Production Associates:
    Effectively communicate problem areas with the production team in order to rectify deviations from quality
Requirements
  • Prior experience in quality control, preferably in a woodworking or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability and stamina to lift materials up to 50 pounds independently, stand on feet for long periods of time, and travel around a warehouse
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills to convey quality standards and issues with team members in a productive manner
  • All warehouse employees must wear the appropriate PPE including steel toe shoes (reimbursement available) and safety glasses. Masks and other PPE might be required.
