** 1st Shift (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM):** $18.50/hour

** 2nd Shift (6:00 PM - 4:00 AM):*
* + $18.50 base + **$2.00 shift differential*

** 8-3rd Shift (12:00 AM - 9:00 AM):*
* + $18.50 base + **$3.00 shift differential*
* ** Position Summary*
* The
** Packaging Technician II
** is responsible for ensuring the continuous, efficient, and trouble‑free operation of all equipment within the Cup Packout processing department. This role performs equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, adjustments, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize production flow. In the event of an absence, this position may be filled by trained personnel.
** Key Responsibilities*
* + Perform daily maintenance on all Packout line equipment.
+ Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns during production.
+ Make proactive line adjustments to prevent lost processing time.
+ Conduct continuous preventative maintenance to reduce future downtime.
+ Learn all aspects of processing line equipment and train others on primary adjustments.
+ Identify product variations and adjust machinery accordingly.
+ Take a proactive approach to reducing lost time between production runs.
** Positional Accountabilities*
* + Understand the impact of downtime and take appropriate action to minimize its duration.
+ Develop proactive strategies to prevent potential downtime situations.
+ Take ownership of equipment performance:
+ **"Your equipment, your downtime."*
* + Maintain clear and continuous communication with Maintenance and the Lead to resolve processing challenges.
+ Perform other duties as assigned requiring similar skills or working conditions.
** Requirements*
* + Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
+ Strong problem‑solving skills, including collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
+ Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical, diagram, and written formats.
+ Basic computer skills and familiarity with software systems.
+
** Mechanical aptitude is required** .
+
** One of the following:*
* + One‑year certificate from a college or technical school,
+ One to two years of related experience and/or training,
+ Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
