Laborer. Construction Weekends off

Overview

Full Time Manual Labor position at Shea Concrete in Rochester, MA. Salary range: $22.00 to $25.00 hourly. Year-round work with benefits. Monday through Friday schedule.

• Prepares precast forms for manufacturing concrete products.
• Prepares molds for stripping by opening or removing forms from hardened concrete.
• Clean, prepare and set up molds for use as required in production.
• Place and secure reinforcement in various precast concrete forms.
• Layout and secure embeds, knockouts, etc.
• Place and finish concrete into various precast forms.
• Carpentry skills of all levels.

• Housekeeping – maintain a clean work area.
• Maintain knowledge of precast plant techniques and procedures.
• Delegate tasks as deemed necessary.
• Understanding of hand tools; mechanical skills are a plus.

• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, reach, kneel, crawl, etc.
• Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time during the shift.
• Must be able to work with heights up to 10 feet.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
