Metrology Technician - Weekend - Second Shift (Fri, Sat, Sun)

A detail-oriented Metrology Technician responsible for performing laser scanning and CMM inspections to support the production and assembly of fusion energy components, ensuring high-quality data for validation and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Perform advanced laser scanning and CMM inspections to support production and assembly.
• Generate high-quality scan and inspection data for validation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure precision and accurate documentation of inspection results.

• Must be a detail-oriented, hands-on Metrology Technician capable of performing advanced laser scanning and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspections in support of SPARC production and assembly.
• Must generate high-quality scan and inspection data that enables the metrology engineering team to validate builds, troubleshoot issues, and keep production moving to deadline.
• Must enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, taking pride in precision and documentation.
• Must be eager to cross-train and grow within the Quality Control department.
• Must be available to work the second shift hours from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, specifically on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
• Must be able to work onsite at Commonwealth Fusion Systems' location.
• Must comply with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, known as Export Control Laws, as a condition of employment.

Compensation/salary range: $30 - $38 per hour with a $30 differential
