Work Hours/ Shift: 3:00 pm-11:30 pm 2nd Shift

Full-Time - It says 2nd shift, however 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts are available: 1st shift 7:00am – 3:30pm, 2nd shift 3:00pm – 11:30pm, 3rd shift 11:00pm – 7:30am

.Must have automated packaging line experience in a pharmaceutical company or from a food or cosmetic company

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform all functions according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Perform installation, repair, and troubleshooting of process equipment as required, including electrical, pneumatic & electronic, and mechanical systems.
  • Efficiently maintain operating machines and correct any malfunction.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of equipment.
  • Select and collect parts required for repair from store.
  • Work with other mechanics to set up, troubleshoot, and repair process equipment.
  • Responsible for "Downtime", "Change Over Time", PM's and "Productivity" result.
  • Responsible for completion of the PM's, in the required amount of time to maintain equipment efficiency.
  • Communicate possible deterioration of equipment by using the parts logbook and the troubleshooting form – "One Point Lesson".
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area with all automatic equipment 100% functional.
  • Follow safe procedures when repairing or maintaining equipment.
  • Use Log Out/Tag out and all required safety equipment.
  • Recommend equipment maintenance improvements to reduce cost and safety hazards.
  • Restart machines in a short period of time when required by business need.
  • Provide immediate feedback to Supervisor on unsafe equipment or working condition.
  • Adhere to Client Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • GED with 2-4 years of experience in packaging with knowledge of repairing and maintenance activity and qualifications, preferably in a pharmaceutical company.
Skills / Competencies
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Packaging Area Standard Operating Procedures and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate in English (verbal and written).
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good basic math knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
