Cresco Labs is seeking a Lead Lab Technician to join our facility. The Lead Lab Technician will be responsible for assisting in product processing and formulation, completing tasks assigned by the Lab Manager to monitor and maintain the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of production areas, while ensuring stringent adherence to quality control measures. The Lead is also responsible for supervising day‑to‑day tasks, including prepping and packaging, to ensure seamless operations.
COREJOB DUTIES Manufacturing
- Responsible for the preparation of Cresco Labs extraction, facilitating the processing of product in accordance with the Commonwealth and standards set by Cresco Labs.
- Ensures consistency and efficacy of product through quality control testing and procedures outlined by Cresco Labs.
- Responsible for product processing and product formulation.
- Lab bench work and product filtrations.
- Assist in packaging department as needed.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, assisting in their training and development.
- Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility.
- Ensure personal hygiene is acceptable under standards set by Cresco Labs before performing any production activities by washing hands, wearing a hair net, and changing clothes.
- Complete the sanitation of all production equipment and tools including workspace, lab equipment, containers, and appliances.
- Experience in training, leading and/or mentoring staff or new hires preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience working in a laboratory setting that follows strict health and safety protocols; or any satisfactory combination of training and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the essential duties of the role.
- Past experience in a highly regulated field producing pharmaceutical or nutraceutical products preferred.
- Effective time‑management skills and ability to multi‑task.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing and challenging environment.
- Proficiency in Windows‑based software and point of sale applications.
- Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
- Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
- Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.

COMPENSATIONPay Range: $25.50 – $25.50 USD per hour.
