This opportunity is third shift, the hours are 6pm‑4am.

The salary range for this opportunity is $75,000‑$80,000/year.

The Cup Pack Out Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the second and third‑shift cup packaging lines, ensuring that production targets are met with the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role leads a multi‑shift team, manages equipment throughput and drives continuous improvement initiatives through 5S and Lean manufacturing principles.

• Operational Leadership:
  Direct and coordinate the daily activities of the Cup Pack Out department to meet production schedules and customer demand.
• Quality & Food Safety:
  Ensure 100% compliance with FSQ standards, labeling requirements, and SQF/HACCP regulations, always maintaining audit‑ready status.
• Performance Optimization:
  Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, scrap rates, material waste, and labor variance, and implement strategies to minimize downtime.
• Safety Management:
  Foster a Safety First culture. Conduct regular safety audits, lead accident investigations, and ensure all team members are trained on LOTO and machine guarding protocols.
• Personnel Development:
  Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and training for Pack Out Leads and Supervisors. Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Lead 5S workplace organization initiatives. Utilize root‑cause analysis (e.g., 5‑Why) to resolve operational bottlenecks and downtime issues.
• Inventory & Resource Planning:
  Coordinate with scheduling and warehouse teams to ensure all packaging materials (cups, lids, labels, boxes) are staged and available for production runs.

• Oversight and accountability for all shifts with 2‑4 department supervisors per shift. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Departmental responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high‑speed manufacturing environment, preferably in Food & Beverage.
• Demonstrated experience managing automated packaging equipment and conveyor systems.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma.
