Sanitation Technician

Our client, a leading seafood manufacturing and distribution facility, is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join their team. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be part of the Sanitation Department supporting the production environment. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong safety focus, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Clean and sanitize production equipment, processing lines, utensils, tools, and facility surfaces.

+ Follow established sanitation procedures, SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP, and food safety requirements.

+ Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning.

+ Properly mix, handle, and apply approved cleaning and sanitizing chemicals as per training.

+ Remove waste, debris, and product residue from production areas.

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

+ Previous sanitation, food manufacturing, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
