Wage Range: $22-28/hour

We are seeking a Soldering Technician to support the assembly, modification, and repair of electronic components and assemblies. The ideal candidate brings precision soldering experience, familiarity with PCB assemblies, and a strong ability to interpret technical documentation, all grounded in a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Perform hand soldering and rework of electronic components, including through-hole and surface mount (SMT) parts
- Perform precision hand soldering and rework of electronic components, including through-hole and surface mount (SMT)
- Assemble and modify PCBs and cable assemblies per specifications; perform wire stripping, tinning, cable routing, and component placement
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate builds
- Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies for quality and IPC compliance
- Troubleshoot and repair defective assemblies; conduct continuity testing and basic functional checks
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations; document work performed and keep accurate production records
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project timelines and quality goals
- Soldering experience: Through-hole and SMT techniques preferred
- IPC standards: Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 preferred
- Technical documentation: Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and assembly drawings
- Hand tools & inspection equipment: Experience with microscopes and related inspection tools
- Manual dexterity & attention to detail: Strong fine motor skills with a quality-first mindset
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification a plus
