2026-27 Neighbor Works Way Finders Digital Navigator VISTA
Way Finders is committed to advancing housing stability and economic mobility for low-income individuals and families across Western Massachusetts. The Digital Navigator VISTA will help bridge the digital divide by building systems that expand access to devices, internet connectivity, and digital literacy skills. Individuals must have a commitment to serving communities experiencing poverty; strong communication and organizational skills, an ability to manage multiple projects and comfortable working with people from varied backgrounds and communities.
Strengthen community awareness of online resources related to employment, housing, education, and healthcare. The VISTA will also support a resident-led Digital Access for All coalition to advance sustainable, community-driven solutions.
The VISTA member serving on our digital access project will support development of systems and materials for digital literacy and digital navigation programming. Develop systems to strengthen intake, presentations, and surveys, as well as create and maintain systems for tracking outcomes. They will assist the Digital Access for All coalition and Way Finders Digital Equity Coordinator by supporting a digital access awareness campaign through community outreach and engagement activities.
The VISTA member will also help develop and revise training materials, assess resources, and identify potential collaborations. They will support coordination of partner meetings and collaborative communication systems. Additionally, they will foster partnerships through researching successful models and best practices and recommend improvements or new programming.
