The Family Nurse Practitioner provides primary health care, education, and clinical functions according to the regulations and scope of practice signed by the Chief Medical Officer.

• Provide primary and acute healthcare to patients at the Health Center, following the scope of practice approved by the CMO.
• Document visits and contacts in patient charts.
• Review labs and diagnostic tests.
• Provide care based on clinical protocols reviewed annually by the CMO.
• Attend staff and provider meetings.
• Consult and refer to doctors as needed for optimal care.
• Participate in an evening/weekend on-call rotation approximately every 8 weeks.
• Attend conferences and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Current registered nurse license in Massachusetts.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Massachusetts license for expanded nursing role.
• Possess or obtain prescription privileges in Massachusetts.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (CPR).
