Position:
Registered Nurse Med Surg PT (24 hrs/Week) / FT (36 hrs/Week)

Location:

Boston, MA

• 36 hrs / Week – Nights with rotating weekends/holidays (three 12‑hour shifts)
• 36 hrs / Week – Rotator (2 wks. days; 2 wks. nights!)
• 24 hrs / Week – Nights
• 24 hrs / Week – Rotator shift (2 wks. days; 2 wks. nights!)

• MA nursing license or "compact" multi‑state license
• Medical surgical experience (1 year required)
• Valid driver's license required
• Hospital nursing experience or sub‑acute setting experience
• Current Basic Life Support Certification

Client is currently seeking registered nurses who have a passion for providing the highest quality care. As an RN in Medical Surgical, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. • Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
• Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter‑professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
• Assist leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects.

• Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred.
• Medical surgical experience (1 year required).
• Certification in basic life support (BLS).
• Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification required in certain units.
• Diploma, ASN, or BSN nursing degree (preferred); ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
• Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fluency in another language is a plus.
