Nurse Technicians- Per Diem

People, Incorporated is a human service agency serving the Southcoast community, including the Greater Fall River, New Bedford, and Taunton areas.

Our Residential Program is looking for compassionate Nurse Technicians to work 24‑hour supported home environments in Swansea, Taunton and surrounding communities. This position offers a flexed schedule, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. It is intended for nursing program students who have successfully completed Foundations or Fundamentals of Nursing and who are actively attending an LPN or RN program. This role provides the opportunity to earn experience while learning from other nursing staff and to pursue future nursing roles with the agency after licensing is received.

• On a daily basis, the C.N.A. will provide a structured routine that includes house meetings, individual outings, meal preparation, ADL care, facilitate family visitations, and distribute medication while maintaining human rights at all times.
• This position will implement Positive Behavior Support and individual programs as identified in the Individual Service Plans.
• At times, de‑escalation and crisis management techniques may be required to maintain the safety of others.

• Active enrollment in an accredited program leading to LPN or RN licensure.
• Successful completion of Fundamentals/Foundations of Nursing.
• Ability to show proof of continued enrollment in an accredited program leading to LPN or RN licensure (unofficial transcripts showing active enrollment and passing two weeks after completing semester courses).
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record are also required.
