Jogan Health is looking for local CNAs with experience in a nursing home and rehab setting for a 13 week assignment in Fall River, Massachusetts. We are looking for skilled and highly motivated Certified Nursing Assistants to join the talented staff at a Nursing Home facility in Fall River, MA.
A CNA is an extremely important position for any nursing home. They are responsible for providing assistance to the professional staff by helping take care of patients with their many complex and physical tasks. Their duties include delivering direct care to patients such as, bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc. They should strive to always maintains patient comfort and safety and well-being.
Starting Rate: $22/hour

Responsibilities May Include- Provide great patient care under the supervision of an RN
- Perform duties as directed by supervisors. These duties include but are not limited to those described below.
- Assisting patients by providing physical support during daily activities and personal hygiene, such as, getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, using the toilet, walking, standing, and exercising.
- Repositioning bedridden patients
- Ensuring residents / patients receive appropriate food by reviewing dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences. In some facilities, this may include preparing meals.
- Obtaining information from MDs, RNs, and care givers about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities.
- Measuring and recording food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output and reporting changes to medical or nursing staff
- Recording vital signs, including BP, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff.
- Examining patients / residents to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruise, and blood in urine.
- Noting observations of patient / resident behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to RNs.
- Reminding patients / residents to take medications and nutritional supplements.
- Staying up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedures.
- Wide medical background especially knowledge in medical terms and procedures.
- In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations.
- Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions.
- Comfortable working with specific populations of patients, including elderly patients and those with special needs.
- Physical strength and stamina.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Up-to-date immunization records.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Graduate from a CNA School.
- Pass the State Exam.
- Register as a Certified Nurse Aide.
