Position: Student Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse)

Interviews will be held on 29.07.2026 and 30.07.2026 - Secondment would be considered.

We are now seeking motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking individuals who are ready to develop their skills and train as a School Nurse. By enrolling in the PGDip Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN School Nurse) programme starting in January 2027, you will gain comprehensive academic and practical training through our partnership with Anglia Ruskin University (ARU).

What We’re Looking For
  • A passion for public health, with the ability to adopt a ‘think family’ approach and a genuine desire to improve outcomes for children and young people.
  • Current NMC registration, or eligibility to register as a newly qualified nurse or midwife before the course start date. You must also meet the academic entry requirements for Anglia Ruskin University (ARU).
  • Commitment to a 52 week full time programme, including timetabled annual leave, delivered by Anglia Ruskin University (ARU).
  • The course includes a 50/50 split between academic study and supervised practice within our Healthy Child Programme teams.
  • A desire to build a long term career within the Healthy Child Programme Services.
