Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) ​/ Physician Assistant (PA) – Inpatient Cardiology

Position Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced providers and motivated new graduates who have strong clinical training and a willingness to learn.

Employment Type: Full-Time

• 3
  * 10-hour shifts per week
• Rotating coverage every 4th weekend
• Hospital-based inpatient role

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced providers and motivated new graduates who have strong clinical training and a willingness to learn.

• Perform inpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up evaluations.
• Manage hospitalized cardiac patients under physician supervision.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care for interventional cardiology patients.
• Coordinate patient care with hospitalists, primary care providers, and other specialists.
• Communicate treatment plans and facilitate smooth transitions of care.
• Participate in supervision of cardiac stress testing (training provided if needed).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Active or eligible Massachusetts NP or PA license.
• New graduates are also welcome
• DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (or ability to obtain).
• Computer proficiency with EMRs (Epic and eClinicalWorks preferred).
• Cardiology experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is preferred.
