Prima CARE is a 180-provider, physician-owned multispecialty group, based in Fall River, Massachusetts, currently employing 70 advanced practice providers.
We are seeking a Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the office practice of a Family Medicine physician, full-time 36-40 hours per week, four days per week (Thursdays off) with no nights or weekends. Part-time (2-3 days per week) can also be an option.

The APP would see adult and adolescent patients under physician supervision, assuming independent responsibility for patient care commensurate with his/her experience, training, and confidence. We are prepared to hire immediately and to begin the on-boarding and insurance credentialing so that the successful candidate can begin working as soon as possible. Experience is desirable, but we would consider a recent graduate with a strong background and an ability to work confidently and independently.

Fluency in Portuguese is particularly valuable in Fall River.

The APP will be an employee of Prima CARE, but will function as a member of an office-based patient-focused team. The candidate must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, hold a valid Drug Enforcement Agency certificate, and hold a Massachusetts controlled substances registration. Compassion, maturity, and excellent communication skills are essential. Prima CARE uses eClinicalworks as its EMR. The practice has the full support of Prima CARE specialists and testing facilities, which are all on-site and readily-available.

These include a full laboratory, radiology, cardiac and pulmonary testing, allergy, infectious diseases, etc.
