About The Opportunity
The School of Nursing, Fall River campus, is seeking part‑time faculty to teach theoretical courses, including didactic and/or skills laboratory courses, in the following areas:
Adult Medical/Surgical, Public Community Health, Maternal Child/Women's Health, Pediatrics, and Psychiatric/Mental Health. Part‑time instructor positions are available as determined by the department’s curricular and institutional needs.
- Preparation of lectures, course materials, examinations, and evaluation of student performance in the course.
- Work under the direction of the lead faculty for the course as required.
- Hold office hours as appropriate.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of two years’ relevant professional nursing experience within the last five years.
- Competence appropriate to teaching responsibilities.
- Current Massachusetts RN license.
- Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
May, July, September, and January.

Pay RangeThe rate per credit is $2085.
