POSITION TITLE: Dock Crew Member REPORTS TO: Dock Manager

Join the Freedom Boat Club team and help us create unforgettable experiences for our members! As a Dock Crew Member, you will support our day-to-day activities at our locations, ensuring member satisfaction with a professional attitude and high-quality service. We value strong teamwork and a dynamic work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize every boat after each use.
  • Open and close the club, ensuring everything is accounted for and secured.
  • Perform morning operations checks and wipe down condensation daily.
  • Conduct morning maintenance inspections before member reservations.
  • Comfortably maneuver boats within slips and to the fuel dock.
  • Effectively check members in and out, handling fuel fees accurately.
  • Utilize technology for reservations, confirmations, and member management.
  • Verify daily usage to ensure accurate inventory and fuel accounting.
  • Report any damages and fill out incident reports when necessary.
  • Complete weekly deep cleaning and inspections.
  • Assist with minor mechanical issues, including prop changes.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors.
  • Prioritize safety at all times.
Requirements
  • Professional appearance in line with company policy.
  • Completion of the NASBLA boating safety course (available during onboarding).
  • Able to work on your feet and in various weather conditions.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and process-driven approach.
  • Capable of lifting 30 lbs and reaching awkward places.
  • Lead by example and be a dedicated team player.
  • Eager to learn product knowledge.
  • Knowledge of small boat operations is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be at least 17 years old.
  • Weekend and holiday availability is necessary.
Compensation

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
