Job DescriptionThe Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks applicants for the position of Laborer I. Seasonal Laborers perform and assist with a variety of duties in connection with conservation and maintenance work, including but not limited to grounds and facility maintenance such as cutting grass, raking leaves, watering, painting, rubbish removal, beautification of parks, campgrounds, reservations, beaches, and facilities.
Duties- May be expected to use a variety of hand tools.
- May operate motor vehicles and light trucks including loading and unloading of supplies and equipment.
- Greet and assist park visitors and provide information about the facility.
- Collect fees as assigned and may be required to possess a current and valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Ability to work outside in inclement weather, work odd hours with expectations for working overtime opportunities and holidays.
