Supervisor, Restaurant​/Food Service, Catering

Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Supervisor who will be responsible for assisting management in all aspects of operations at a private co-ed college preparatory school located in North Andover, MA.

Full-time: M-F from 6 a.m.

- 2 p.m. and catering events as needed

$21 Per Hour

• Assist management in the training and supervision of staff during all aspects of catered events to ensure high-quality service standards and presentations are met.
• Greet and welcome guests, and respond to specific requests in a courteous manner.
• Serve and replenish beverages and food; remove dishes and utensils at the end of each course, meal, or function
• Monitor and supervise setup and maintenance of the dining area and food stations to ensure quality standards.
• Participate in event clean-up and assist with inventory, food storage, and other closeout tasks.
• Foster an inclusive environment for all staff and guests, while maintaining effective client and customer-centric relationships.

• Associate’s Degree or minimum 2 years supervisory experience in food service (BOH or FOH)/catering required
• Must be able to pass an FBI background check
• Working knowledge of dining and retail operations
• Possess and exhibit the drive to provide exceptional service
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Emerging leadership skills and strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while fostering strong client and customer relationships
• Serv Safe Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
