Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associate plays a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. This position offers an opportunity to excel in a growing, high‑impact, customer‑focused role, working independently and as a team member to positively impact customers.

• Provide differentiated customer service, anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and resolving service issues.
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help to locate items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties – handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements:
  
  remain upright on feet for prolonged periods, lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently.
• Visual acuity sufficient to view a computer terminal, read, and inspect small parts/details.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Pay range: $17.00 – $24.00 per hour. Anticipated weekly hours: 29. Type:
Part‑time.
