Retail Store Associate

Position Summary:

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. They provide customer service, cashier duties, support store operations and stock departments, while contributing to overall store performance.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues.
• Focus on the customer with a warm greeting, eye contact, and assistance locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties (cash, checks, credit cards) following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor: restock shelves, check vendor shipments, update pricing, and perform inventory tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support across departments (photo, beauty), keeping them stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working shifts in the pharmacy as growth opportunities.
• Advocate for CVS services and loyalty programs to help customers on their health path.

• Required:
  
  Minimum 16 years of age.
• Physical:
  Standing on feet for sustained periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally.
• Visual:
  Close visual acuity to read and inspect small details.
• Preferred:
  Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Part‑time, 20 hours per week. Pay range: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour. Pay depends on experience, education, geography.
