Job Overview

• Work with the team to ensure the sales floor stays "runway ready," sized and filled through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers during cashiering on multiple platforms (in-store, online, mobile), operating point‑of‑sale systems, bagging items, and handling bulky items.
• Create a smooth fitting‑room experience as a fitting‑room attendant: greet, assist customers, sort and return clothing to the floor.
• Keep a clean and clutter‑free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
• Keep stockrooms organized, merch properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
• Promote Nordstrom Rewards program initiatives.

• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders, following packing and shipping standards.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments per inventory control processes.
• Assist in maintaining clean, organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general store support: set up special events, organize backroom, markdowns, relocate store fixtures.

• Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Accountability, initiative, and a high level of ownership.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching.
• Frequent handling of small to large items up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Stock & Fulfillment: lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 pounds.

The pay range for this position is $18.15 - $18.85 hourly, depending on location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
