Job Summary
The Sunnyside Retail Store Supervisor will support day‑to‑day operations of the dispensary in accordance with state law and company standards. This position directs workflow of the staff, performs store opening and closing procedures, manages customer escalations, reinforces team culture, and acts as an ambassador of the company’s mission.
Responsibilities- Direct workflow of the team by creating morning rosters, break sheets, and delegating daily responsibilities.
- Facilitate training and onboarding of Lead Wellness Advisors and Wellness Advisors, including coaching on selling and cross‑selling techniques.
- Perform store opening and closing procedures: register preparation, inventory reconciliation, cash deposit verification.
- Respond to escalated customer concerns and provide product knowledge, ensuring compliance.
- Investigate and resolve cash, POS, or product discrepancies and report accordingly.
- Maintain inventory of marketing assets and ensure a clean and safe environment.
Job Duties
- Perform store opening and closing procedures on non‑peak periods.
- Respond to employee questions and provide real‑time coaching and feedback.
- Document and address employee relations issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, state and local laws.
- Verify inventory counts and cash deposit totals; reconcile discrepancies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of customer service experience.
- 1+ year of experience leading or mentoring a team; cannabis experience preferred.
- Advanced product knowledge and industry compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.
