Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager on duty, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.

• Management: Work effectively with store management and crews; supervise the store’s crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities; communicate effectively between management and crews.
• Customer Service: Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote a CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank); handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy; maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Merchandise & Presentation: Price merchandise; stock shelves; execute displays, signage, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise; reset departments following Point of Sale Guidelines.

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and urgent store issues.

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• Education—High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Pay Range: $16.50 - $24.00 per hour (base hourly rate; actual offer based on experience, education, geography, and other factors).
