Collision Customer Specialist – Automotive Aftermarket Division (Boston, MA)

Mers around the world.
- Lead sales efforts across all 3M products/portfolios into the collision repair segment of 3M’s Automotive Aftermarket Division (US).
- Implement sales programs, plans and policies as agreed upon with direct supervisor.
- Determine priorities, frequencies and call patterns to be most effective and productive.
- Support headquarters, regional and zone campaigns, initiatives and priorities.
- Create business plans for end users and provide solutions to everyday problems.
- Track and measure all sales activity in 3M’s customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
Sales territory includes Boston and surrounding counties within the Boston, MA area.
TravelMay include up to 25% domestic travel.
Company VehicleRequires driving a company vehicle; pre‑employment and ongoing review of motor‑vehicle history is required.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution (completed before start) with two (2) years of sales and/or automotive aftermarket industry experience.
- High School Diploma from an accredited institution with six (6) or more years of sales experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Financial acumen background.
- Technical expertise and automotive repair industry knowledge.
- Relationship builder with a competitive nature.
- Well organized, self‑starter.
- Great time and territory management skills.
- Experience with digital solutions (inventory management, calibration, insurance, etc.).
- Experience as a manufacturing sales professional or distribution sales (warehouse or jobber).
- Experience effectively demonstrating products to a variety of key stakeholders or influencers.
- Experience with or other customer‑relationship management (CRM) tool.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Compensation and BenefitsExpected compensation range: $113,752 – $139,031, including base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The position may also be eligible for a range of benefits including medical, dental & vision, health savings accounts, health care & dependent care flexible spending accounts, disability benefits, life insurance, voluntary benefits, paid absences and retirement benefits.
