Title F&W Home Service Inspector

Overview

F&W Pest Control of MA is hiring a full-time, entry-level Home Sales Inspector. This position is suitable for individuals with little to no prior experience in the pest control industry, although prior experience is always welcome.

As a Home Sales Inspector, you will be responsible for understanding F&W’s termite protection services and making strategic recommendations to customers. You will perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces, identifying issues and building trusted relationships with homeowners.

• Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing in-depth training to recommend the best pest solution.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers to explain products and services.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of customers’ homes.
• Make recommendations based on inspections, addressing questions and setting expectations.
• Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company-provided iPad.

What do you need to be successful?

• No experience required – we provide training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain the required pesticide license/certification if needed (company pays).
• Ability to work independently in the field and interact with customers.

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations:

• Use a ladder within manufacturer weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Wear personal protective equipment, which may require an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
• Willing to work in various weather conditions.
