The Territory Sales Representative is a full-time position responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening strategic customer relationships across New England (ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT). This role drives territory performance through account development, new business acquisition, and execution of Techtop’s commercial strategy. Success is defined by consistent achievement of revenue targets, expansion within existing accounts, and disciplined pipeline management.
This position requires regular regional travel and reports to the Vice President of Sales.

Key Responsibilities- Own overall account management for motor, drive, and gear reducer customers within the assigned territory, ensuring growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute an annual Territory Sales Plan aligned with revenue targets and growth priorities.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
- Maintain an active, accurate project pipeline in CRM.
- Lead customer pricing discussions, proposal presentations, and contract negotiations in alignment with Techtop’s pricing and margin strategy.
- Build and sustain strategic relationships to position Techtop as a preferred supplier at priority accounts.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and customer trends to proactively identify risks and growth opportunities.
- Coordinate cross‑functional resources (engineering, operations, customer service, finance) to support customer success and timely order fulfillment.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, activity reporting, and business insights to Sales Leadership on a regular basis.
- Participate in product training and business planning sessions to improve selling effectiveness.
- Represent Techtop Industries professionally in line with company values, policies, and standards.
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage a sales territory and consistently achieve or exceed revenue goals.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative, accountability, and work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities, customer activity, and forecasting.
- Must reside within the assigned territory and be willing to drive regionally to conduct sales visits.
- 3+ years in an industrial or technical sales environment.
- Experience with electric motors, power transmission, or related industrial products.
- Familiarity with industrial distribution channels, preferably within the EASA network.
- Proven track record of strategic account growth and long‑term customer relationship development.
- Preference for candidates based near Massachussetts.
Approximately 80% regional travel.
