Maintenance Technician
Rector Seal is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician at our injection molding/extrusion facility in Fall River. The Maintenance Technician will work with our team to maintain and repair molding machines, extruders, granulators, chillers, temp controllers, conveyors, and custom equipment and automation. Rector Seal manufactures and/or distributes a variety of chemical and mechanical products for the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing industries. For over 80 years, Rector Seal’s customers have depended on us for quality products with excellent value, shipped to them in a timely manner.
This passion for excellent customer service is the reason Rector Seal has been growing at a very fast pace, and now requires additional shift capacity to meet customer demand. The Maintenance Technician will provide technical support sitewide to ensure our products are delivered safely, productively, and on time in accordance with our customer-focused core values.
- Ensure operation of machinery and electronic equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns of molding machines, extruders, grinders, chillers, temp controllers, conveyors and other industrial equipment.
- Work with outside vendors as needed for service support, parts supplies, etc. Support outside contractors scheduled to complete projects within the facility.
- Understand technical documents and equipment specifications.
- All performed work to meet industry safety standards and guidelines.
- Use of computerized maintenance management system (Fixx) for completing tasks
- Minimum 3 years of experience in job related field
- Experience in fast paced industrial environment
- Must possess or willing to acquire NFPA 70E Certification
- Troubleshooting and problem solving
- Work with automated equipment and PLCs a plus
