Maintain a working knowledge of vehicle components and systems and perform preventive and repair maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment;
Repair chassis components and refuse bodies including hydraulic and electrical systems; and air and hydraulic braking systems;
Perform light engine repair and maintenance, suspension, drivetrain and steering systems, heating and air conditioning;
Perform welding and fabrication as needed;
Provide safe road service to return equipment to operation promptly;
Identify malfunctions using electronic tools and complete assigned company trainings
