The Key Program, Inc is currently seekingan Outreach Caseworker
to work with adolescents and their families who are involved with MA Department of Children & Families (DCF) and who live in the Northeast MA and Southern NH areas. The Outreach Caseworker is directly responsible for overseeing and executing services for clients and families who are referred by DCF.
Wage/Salary Benefits Include:
- Hourly wage: $24.50
- Bilingual salary differential on $1.00/hour depending on language.

Qualifications:
** REQUIRES** -
Bachelor’s degree
in a human services-related field (i.e. psychology, sociology, criminal justice, human development, human services, etc.)- Minimum of one year experience (Direct Care, Human Services, Internship)
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid state driver’s license and must have a legally registered and insured car for work use
- Due to the nature of the work and client needs, the Outreach Caseworker position requires a 40 hour work week that includes some occasional evening and weekend shifts, on a rotating schedule with teammates. On- call duties also will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain supportive client relationships emphasizing client accountability and attainment of client treatment goals
- Provide advocacy in the areas of health, education, vocation, legal and family/foster family intervention
- Facilitate individual client and/or family/foster family counseling, mediation, and support and group counseling sessions
- Coordinate clinical services with clinic staff
- Locates, evaluates and utilizes community resources for clients and families
- Participates on community recreational activities with individual clients or in groups
- Provides intensive community tracking services
- Establishes aftercare plans and develops community resources for terminating clients/families
- Completes case documentation (assessments, daily treatment notes, reports, etc.) professionally and timely
The Key Program supports children, families, and emerging adults through trauma-informed, culturally grounded services that strengthen resilience, foster belonging, deepen community connections, and build a foundation for lasting well-being.. Key works in conjunction with the MA DCF, RI DCYF and NH DCYF and is an agency provider of community-based services, residential treatment programming, and outpatient mental/behavioral health services.
