Shipping Associate

Overview

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is seeking a Shipping Associate to join their team. As a Shipping Associate, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting the warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping Associate

Location: Fall River, MA

Pay Range: $18/hr.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm

• Pull and inspect orders as directed, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Execute all aspects of the order pick and ship process for freight and small parcel shipping.
• Efficiently pick customer orders according to the pick list.
• Wrap pallets for shipping and load trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate reach truck, forklift, and pallet jack to move products within the warehouse.

• Must have experience operating a reach truck and forklift (ensure this is clearly shown in your resume).
• 1-3 years of shipping experience, including domestic and international shipments.
• Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking within a warehouse environment.
