Position Summary
Automotive Technician plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team, learning and developing foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, the role includes hands‑on work to address various automotive systems and services, routine inspections, vehicle assessments, repair procedures, and providing exceptional service to customers.
Pay & IncentivesSign‑on bonus: $1,500 (first‑time hires). Hourly base rate: $21.80 – $26.30. Flat‑rate performance pay is also offered.
Responsibilities- Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
- Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
- Install batteries and check electrical systems.
- Perform tire maintenance.
- Install parts.
- Road test vehicles.
- Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least one of A1 – A8 within the first two years of employment (company pays tests and registration fees; bonus for each test passed).
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Valid automobile driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services (oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires).
- Reading, writing, and math skills.
- 2 years of automotive repair experience or completion of a vocational‑technical school program in a related field.
- A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.
- Medical, dental, and vision starting day one.
