Surgical Affiliates Management Group (SAMGI) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our program at Banner Churchill Community Hospital in Fallon, Nevada. This is a unique opportunity to practice full-scope orthopedic surgery in a rural community setting while enjoying a predictable schedule and the professional support of a well‑established surgical group.

• Join an established team
• Balanced case mix of elective and acute orthopedic cases
• Build and lead a program that truly impacts community health

• Two‑Surgeon Model:
  Each surgeon works ~183 days/year
• 24/7/365 ED Ortho Call Coverage
• Daily Onsite Weekday Coverage (M–F):
  Clinic, hospital, and OR

  Duties Include:
  
  Elective ortho, follow‑ups, and outpatient consults
• Target Volume: 150 acute + 150 elective = 300 total cases in year one
• No APPs required – direct surgeon‑delivered care

• Banner Churchill Community Hospital
• 25‑bed rural facility with a tight‑knit, patient‑centered environment
• 4‑bed Medical ICU, MRI on site
• ED sees ~17,734 visits annually, serves ~81,000 outpatient clinic visits
• Located in the scenic Sierra Nevada foothills, about an hour from Reno

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Experience in arthroscopy, joint replacement, and acute fracture care
• Proven ability to balance elective & inpatient referrals
• High standards for patient satisfaction, strong communication skills
• Demonstrated excellence in a collaborative team‑based environment
