POSITION: Speech & Language Pathologist – Student Services
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university specific to Speech Pathology or related, field and qualify for teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.
REQUIRED LICENSE: Must possess or be able to acquire a Nevada teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education with endorsement in Speech & Language Impairments. Hold a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or an equivalent license from the Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing Board.
DEFINITION: The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides diagnostic, remedial and consultative services for students with receptive/expressive communicative disorders.
CURRENT SALARY: $49,049 minimum - $95,806 depending on experience and education, scheduled 183 days per year. (
* Additional pay: SB500 funds will be added for the 26-27 school year)
BENEFITS: District paid Nevada PERS retirement contribution, health, dental, vision and life insurance. Sick leave and personal leave included. Nevada has no state income tax.
