PRN MRI Technologist Role Overview
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including advanced modalities like MRI, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment, ensuring quality control.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients and equipment, independently conduct imaging studies, including portable and on-call exams, and maintain safety standards.
QualificationsAssociate degree or higher in a related field, certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR, with preferred experience of less than 2 years.
Licenses & CertificationsRelevant state-specific licenses and certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, and additional preferred certifications like CPR and IV Therapy.
SkillsKnowledge of imaging procedures, ability to work independently, attention to detail, and patient care skills.
Additional InfoThis PRN role involves rotating shifts with no call or overnight work, offering flexible scheduling.
