Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves providing inpatient occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients, focusing on rehabilitative care for various diagnoses such as hip fractures, total joint replacements, and neurological conditions. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with weekend and holiday rotations, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week.

- Schedule:
Days, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, from 09/21/2026 to 12/14/2026. - Required Qualifications:
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), State Licensure in Missouri (MO) or a compact state, and at least 2 years of experience in adult care with adaptive equipment. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (Epic), adult neurology or orthopedics, and previous inpatient or community hospital experience. - Additional Information:
- Weekend rotation every 6th full weekend, with compensatory days off during the week before and after the weekend.
- Must have adult care experience and be proficient in assessment, evaluation, patient/family education, safety/injury prevention, and patient transfers.
- Responsibilities include lifting, transfers, patient education, and documentation in electronic health record systems.
- Floating between facility locations may be required.
- No local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted; out-of-area clinicians preferred.
- Valid State License at time of submission and compliance with all regulatory, immunization, and certification requirements are mandatory.
- On-call not required.
