NGIS (Navy Exchange Service Command)

• Clean guest rooms and other assigned areas, including cleaning, making beds, inspecting furniture and equipment for wear, restocking room amenities, vacuuming hallways, corridors, and other common areas.
• Communicate the status of cleaned rooms and spaces to supervisor through completion of daily assignments or property management systems in the housekeeping department.
• Handle linen for assigned rooms.
• Operate cleaning equipment, inspect equipment, and complete maintenance requests for broken, defective or replacement items.
• Maintain cleanliness, inventory and organization of assigned carts.

• Previous experience in hospitality or a similar setting is a plus but not required.
• Physical requirements:
  
  moderate physical effort, moving furniture, use of hand or lightweight powered cleaning equipment, and ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
