Lab Technician - Swing Shift

Safety-Kleen located in Fallon, NV is currently seeking a Lab Technician - Swing Shift. The lab technician is responsible for the routine analysis of samples to determine their chemical and physical properties.

Schedule:

Swing shift 1:30 pm to 10 pm, Monday‑Friday, with occasional weekend coverage.

Pay Rate: $24 +/DOE.

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Performs basic analysis of samples following prescribed procedures
• Utilizes basic instrumentation
• Completes all paperwork associated with the analysis in a neat and timely fashion
• Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines
• Performs cleaning and general housekeeping of work area

• High School Diploma or GED required
• BS in Chemistry or related science preferred
• 1+ years of previous lab technician experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Experience with utilizing computer software preferred
