Process Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in laying out drip lines with the D6 Dozer
• Makes necessary repairs to all piping (Yelomine or HDPE)
• Monitors the offloading of lime
• Ability to operate forklift, bobcat skid-steer and backhoe
• Assists with and monitors the cyanide driver in offloading liquid cyanide
• Knowledgeable in the operation of the A.A. machine
• Properly retrieve solution samples and titrate for cyanide content
• Skilled in the process to adjust solution flows to the heap
• Coordinates piping and flow changes with necessary personnel
• Maintains an inventory of pipe and parts and processes reorders as required
• Ability to adjust cyanide to the plant and ponds as necessary
• Capable of operating the lime addition station and adjusts the addition rate as dictated by the pH
• Ability to assist with minor repairs to the plants when necessary
• Must know and understand the location of all pregnant and barren ponds, pipping and valves to and from the ponds as well as the Merrill-Crowe and Carbon plants
• Capable of starting the zinc feeder and adjusting the flow rate to ensure the plant is operating efficiently with a complete understating of how to check the zinc rate making adjustments as required
• Self-starter with an ability to work independently
• Follows verbal and written instructions May perform other related duties as assigned

• Easily adapts to changing requirements and plans
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment
• Willingness to assist elsewhere on the mine site when needed such as the crushing crew, leach crew, etc
• Valid Driver’s License
