Hallmark Field Merchandiser; part-time Fallon, NV

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establishing retailer relationships while representing Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.

Your starting hourly pay will be $16.90 to $17.90 depending on your skills and experience. Hallmark offers paid training, voluntary benefits for part‑time employees, and annual pay increases.

• Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours: 10–12 hours.
• Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

You'll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role consists of three major components:

• Day‑to‑day engagement:
  Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, and provide feedback through required activities.
• Holiday support:
  Additional days and extended hours during seasonal demand around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May require working on the actual holiday and weekends.
• Department resets:
  Participate in installations and remodel assignments as directed, including evening or weekend work.
• Team collaboration:
  Support other team members within Hallmark’s field organization as needed.

This is a physically demanding job. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, often pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 30 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs or use step ladders.

Minimum requirements for this position:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Reading, writing, and understanding of English.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate a digital hand‑held device for documents.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
