The Challenge:The F-35 Lightning II is supported by the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), which provides the IT backbone for planning, maintaining, and sustaining the fighter over its life cycle. ALIS supports current and future warfighters across U.S. and allied military services.
Core Responsibilities of ALIS Administrators:- Obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access.
- Provide operational support to active fighter units, including willingness to travel for deployments or detachments.
- Work various shift hours, including weekends, to support customer mission requirements.
- Undergo a pre‑employment medical exam to ensure capability for deployments to austere environments.
As an ALIS Security Administrator you will provide overall on‑site security, auditing, and support of the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS). Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customer.
A Day in the Life:- Monitoring and reviewing security audit logs.
- Conducting standalone and ancillary system audits and archiving audit records.
- Managing hardware control inventory.
- Performing general Information Assurance (IA) security monitoring.
- Maintaining security documentation.
- Monitoring system security configuration.
- Assisting with system administration, database, and networking duties as required.
You will also train and mentor junior Security Administrators on system security operations, processes, and procedures.

- DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA).
- Experience in security patching and its impact on the system.
- Experience managing security controls, incidents, or vulnerabilities.
- Experience auditing Windows and/or Linux systems.
- Familiarity with log‑aggregating tools such as Splunk.
Skills:
- Experience in Information Security or System Administration.
- Previous Security Administrator or Auditor experience in the F35 Program.
- Advanced knowledge of auditing tools (e.g., Splunk).
- Familiarity with Trellix maintenance.
- Experience providing security support in a SAP environment.
This position requires a government security clearance; the candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
Clearance Level:Top Secret with investigation or CV date within 5 years.
