FLEX Maintenance Worker – Specialized

Join The Navy Inn at the Navy Exchange Service Command in Fallon, NV. This position offers a $1,200 hiring incentive (subject to eligibility) and competitive federal wages. The role supports the daily operations of the Navy Gateway Inn & Suites, serving active‑duty military and their families.

• Perform basic plumbing repairs.
• Conduct routine maintenance of washers and dryers.
• Maintain HVAC systems.
• Support day‑to‑day operations and assist the team in meeting the needs of the military community.

• Minimum one year of general maintenance experience, or one year of high school education can be substituted for three months of experience.
• Three years of general maintenance work covering trade practices such as air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental rules, tools, mechanical and electrical equipment, chemicals, and basic safe work practices.
• Preferred:
  Professional certification or license in one trade (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, or painting).
• Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in uncomfortable positions, as well as lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
