So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?

• Unload vehicles and check incoming shipments for spoilage or damage.
• Receive invoices from vendors and verify against reports of goods received (RGR) to ensure items and quantities are accurate.
• Pull product and stage loading onto vending trucks; manage micro-market routes to minimize driver downtime.
• Conduct monthly inventory of merchandise supplies.
• Operate motor vehicle as required for duties.

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license or a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to operate a motor vehicle safely.
• Must be able to pass background checks necessary for the area of responsibility (e.g., Federal DOD Security Clearance).
• Must pass the GSA defensive driving course.

Performs work on hard surfaces and in areas requiring standing, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Must lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance; heavier material transported by forklift equipment.

Work performed indoors and outdoors. Area may be cold, drafty, damp, or hot. Exposed to possibility of injury from cuts, bruises, lacerations from handling stock or mechanized equipment.

Associate must receive Hazardous Material (Haz Mat) training within 90 days of hire per Department of Transportation regulations. May be required to obtain and maintain a forklift license.

• Total of two years of experience: one year general retail service experience and one year specialized stocking/review tasks.
• One year of high school education may be substituted for up to three months of general experience; up to a High School Diploma or GED for one year of general experience.
