New role with the real estate arm of a well-known Family Office based in Northern VA! This is a full cycle accounting position in a small department so it's a great learning experience with room for growth in a friendly relaxed environment.
Reports to:
Controller
Works closely with the President and VP of Development.
- Prepare Accrual Books for:
- Operating Properties (office, residential & industrial)
- Active & Pre Developments
- Including variance analysis & cash flow projections
- Oversee Accounts Payable process using automated A/P software
- Record receipts, wires & check runs, bank reconciliations
- Assist with audits & tax cap preparation, budgets, and lender reporting
- Communicates with project team, onsite management, lenders, investors
- Ownership accounting including capital calls & preferred return calculations
- BS in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- 3-5 years experience
- Real estate experience
- Yardi experience preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- 18 days PTO
- 401K match
- 10% bonus
