$110K to $125K + Bonus
A growing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in financial reporting, internal controls, month-end close, and corporate accounting within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and support month-end close activities
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support financial reporting and analysis
- Assist with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Partner with Finance and Operations teams on accounting initiatives
- Support audit activities and process improvements
- Participate in systems and process enhancement projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or active progress toward CPA preferred
- 6+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Public accounting and/or government contracting experience highly preferred
