Chief of Staff

Overview

A large general contractor is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the CEO and drive execution across the organization. This individual will manage executive priorities, improve decision‑making processes, coordinate strategic initiatives, and ensure accountability at the highest levels of the business.

• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, ensuring priorities are executed efficiently.
• Prepare and refine executive materials, presentations, communications, and recommendations.
• Manage CEO meeting operations, including agendas, action items, governance, and follow-through.
• Coordinate board and leadership meeting materials and documentation.
• Drive alignment and accountability across key business initiatives.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Identify risks, remove obstacles, and ensure timely execution of priorities.
• Lead and mentor an Associate Chief of Staff while collaborating with executive support teams.
• Execute special projects and enterprise‑wide initiatives on behalf of the CEO.

• 6‑10 years of experience in a Chief of Staff, business operations, strategy, or executive support role.
• Experience supporting senior executives in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results through influence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Construction, real estate, engineering, or related industry experience preferred.
