Safety Engineer
Heavy Civil Construction
Falls Church - Fairfax, VA Area
What You'll Do- Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and hazard analyses
- Support incident investigations and recommend preventive measures
- Assist with safety training, toolbox talks, and site orientations
- Help develop and monitor site‑specific safety programs (HASPs)
- Maintain safety documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Occupational Health, or related field
- 0–2 years of construction or industrial safety experience (internships welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Procore experience a plus
- Spanish‑speaking skills highly preferred
- OSHA 30‑Hour or BCSP CHST certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites
